I stopped losing weight! I went from 147 to 125. I have been watching my calories and maintained a deficit and can't drop any more weight for the past month. What do I need to do?

Congratulations on your success so far!  Anytime you come a plateau, you simply need to move more, eat less or both (from whatever you are doing that is maintaining your weight) to get back on track.

Please make sure you are using the Based on Measurement Changes tool in your program properly. Below is a previously answered question that's similar to yours.

Previous Question: So far I have lost 15 pounds using the bodybugg, but for the last month I have stayed at my current weight. As I lose weight do I need to keep reducing my calorie intake to lose 1lb a week now that I weigh less?

Answer: If your activity level stays the same (your calorie burn), you will have to reduce your calories consumed as you lose weight if you want to continue to lose. Also, remember that as you become more fit, you'll burn fewer calories during the same activities when all else is equal (duration, intensity, etc.). Any time you reach a plateau, you simply need to move more or eat less.

The most important number to pay attention to in the bodybugg program is the deficit based on measurement changes.  This is how you know what your daily deficit really is, regardless of what your food log says or how many calories you're burning per day.  Anytime you're not losing weight according to your goal, you simply need to move more, eat less, or both.  Always follow the program coach's advice following your measurement input - it will always be correct and keep you on goal. Also, please note that in order to use this tool, you must update your measurements every 7 days.

Please be sure to read the Knowledge Builders #2 and #3 on the My Resources tab of the bodybugg program.  This will teach you how to view your deficit based on measurement changes.

1. My follow up question to this is:
I have a fairly sendentary lifestyle thanks to long work hours/commuting. I make an effort to take the stairs and walk around whenever possible, but some days I just can't get my calorie burn significantly higher than the target (i.e. trying to burn more). So that leaves me with the solution of eating less. My current calorie target is 1200, and in order to lower that how low is TOO low?
