After having lost 110 pounds in 1 ½ years I was not able to lose any more weight, and for a little over a year I would lose 5 pounds and then gain it back. I was working out in a women's only gym and I was still eating correctly but could not lose any more weight. I had people tell me to be happy with what I had done, but I wanted to reach my goal and lose another 65 pounds. So with that in mind I joined 24 Hour Fitness, got a personal trainer, a bodybugg and got to work. What I found out was while I was eating healthy and exercising, I was eating too much and not moving enough. The bodybugg took all the questions out of the process. It took all the excuses out and I have found out that not only was it possible for let's say a fifty-something woman in menopause to lose weight but to do it fairly easily, as long as you follow the program (burn the calories, keep track of the calories in). For my birthday I got a digital display and that really changed my workouts. I knew exactly how many calories I was burning and how long it took to burn 300 calories. And boy does that change your mind about eating something extra. Look at a cookie and you see an hour on the bike, do I really want that? I don't think so, that apple looks a lot better to me. And like they say, you will hit a point where you might need help and that is where Fat Burn 1, 2, and 3 has helped. Using the Breakfast Squares, Fruit Fuel Bars, and Cookies have also helped especially when I want something sweet. In total I have lost 175 pounds and, like I say, the old fashioned way, no surgery. And since I have joined 24 Hour Fitness in April I have lost 65 pounds and 61.5 inches. For the first time since high school I am wearing a size small and have my body fat in the "normal" range. And I know I will keep it off because I will wear my bodybugg and keep track of what goes in and how much I burn. And this is what I have to say to all you women in their fifties and in menopause, YES IT CAN BE DONE! You can change your life, be brave and spend the time on yourselves (maybe for the first time in your adult life) and then you too can reach your goal to be healthy and happy like I have.
